Sprouts and Tulips

Seeds sprouting from a purple hyacinth bean vine.  The seeds were a gift.  What a beautiful way to bless someone!
We have limited sources for garden supplies here in east Texas, but I figured if I punch a hole in the bottom of each of these Dixie cups with a screw, they'll do fine in place of starter trays.  Here I'm starting spinach, peas, broccoli, and many other fine fall veggies.
These are tulips leftover from the centerpieces at a banquet we attended this week.  I've never had tulips before, but I adore them.
Next to the purple hyacinth vine are two pots of mixed mesculun lettuce seeds sprouting.
