First Time Pickler

I put my own garden's giant cukes and some extra jalapenos from the farmer's market into a few canning recipes. And I'm feeling rather accomplished.  Do you can? What is your favorite pickled treat to make?

    Yummy. I need to pickle some green tomatoes, which laden branches have broken off my plants...
