It's Only Been a Month

I've missed you all!  Our home laptop finally stopped recognizing our internet access (along with freezing up every time we tried to restart it, making a cracking noise every time it opened, and randomly flashing to neon lines on the screen).  So until today, when my Dad reminded me that we still have our old desktop pc in the closet, I've been without internet access during the day.  My days have started to slowly form into patterns that yield the smallest morsel of control, for which I am eternally grateful.  Olivia's 7 weeks old tomorrow, now weighs 11 lbs, and is sleeping between 4 and 5 hours at a time at night.  The temperatures here have dropped for the last couple of days and nights, and it finally feels like fall.  I love this weather!

Someone who reads this blog has generously given me a very sweet gift - my first pair of real cowboy boots.  I'm officially Texan!  So I'd like to say a very sincere thank you here.  That was a very timely encouragement, unexpected as it was!  God certainly works in mysterious ways to discipline and encourage us.  More blogging to come!
