41 and a Half

 Thanks to an extra dose of energy this week, I was able to "play in the dirt," as my father-in-law calls it.  My front porch is now complete with several larger pots of mainly perennials.  I'm looking forward to watching them grow in and take over my home's front entry.

 It's been such an extreme summer, I really can't put anything on the back porch - even with part sun - even succulents, unless they're in a really deep pot.  Those gardenias and stupid liriope need some attention.

And here I am at 41 and a half weeks, according to my new, later due date.  Thanks to my new midwives, the latter guess that was confirmed by 18 week sonogram has become my new target.  So I'm not 2 weeks late, as I would have been today with my original due date.  Takes some pressure off!  I'm thankful we get to let him come at his own time and not have someone trying to con us into thinking he's in distress when he isn't but it's convenient for them.  We look forward to a fully-formed and fattened baby and natural labor!
