My husband decided to build a fort in our daughter's room last week, and did a wonderful job. They had a fantastic time. Even the dogs wanted to hang out in there!
While at Target I found a new set of sheets - full size, 350 thread count - marked down to $11.something. Apparently someone had ordered them online, then returned them to the store, and since there was no place for them on the shelf they discounted them from their original price of $36.something. Like our packed up bedroom and dog kennel? Ugh.
The sheets go really nice with my $7 white ruched duvet from a yard sale and my homemade bed skirt. It's all coming together.
It's like a Japanese woodblock print with cherry blossoms in tan on white.
And here's a little-over-36-weeks-along side shot of the belly.
We're leaving tomorrow night for South Padre Island for 5 days. Let's hope the little guy stays in there.
Ni question about this: you definitely have a baby in there. At that stage I remember being always embarassed. That baby was going to come out and I though that was personal information to whom everyone who looked at me had access!
ReplyDeleteBekki, I know this sounds weird, but I'm really looking forward to laboring with this one and experiencing it naturally with the thrill and miracle of it all. I find myself talking about labor to inappropriate people. Like single friends who aren't RNs. :) In other news, my maternity clothes aren't fitting so well anymore!
ReplyDeleteI love your pregnancy pic. You look awesome my friend!
ReplyDeleteGirl, I feel awesome. Other than the occasional heartburn and feeling too tired to chase the toddler sometimes, I think I could always be 8 months pregnant and enjoy it.
